What are my favorite quotes? I don't have that many and when I do have a favorite, I relate to the person who said it. Here are some of my favorite quotes and why they are my favorite.
“How do you spell 'love'?" - Piglet "You don't spell it...you feel it." - Pooh”
In this quote, Piglet, from the cartoon show "Winnie the Pooh, asks Pooh about love. Pooh said you can only feel love and nothing else. I always loved this quote ever since I was younger. You can only feel love from friends and family.
2. "I don't have friends. I've just got one." - Holmes Sherlock (To John Watson)
In this quote, Holmes tell John that he doesn't have friends except for one. He was referring to him that he was his only friend. Many people could be like Sherlock, not needing so many friends if the one friend you have now is precious to you. This is, what I believe, a foreshadow or a continuation later on in the series for a deeper meaning when Watson was the last person to hear Sherlock's voice before his death. To Sherlock, Watson was his one and only friend and he didn't need any more friends like the people around us.
3. "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." - Dr. Seuss
What this quote means is that something bad could be happening right now but no on would care enough to change it for the better, leaving it to continue in people's life's. Someone has to care a whole lot to want to change it for the better.
